It was late when Tezuka opened the door to the changing rooms. The meeting with their coach had taken longer than expected, the final paperwork of leaving his captaincy behind now finished.
He had hit a few balls afterwards, against a wall that didn't try to talk to him, that didn't pat his shoulder and told him he had been a good captain. After half an hour he had given up on trying to take his mind off it.
He mechanically stripped, showered and toweled himself dry, then pulled on his school uniform. There was a party tomorrow but he didn't feel like going. He would go, though.
He folded his jersey and towel and pushed them back into his locker when something fell out of it. Tezuka picked it up. It was just a rectangular piece of paper, with a smily scrawled on it. It had been pinned to something brown and fluffy in the back of Tezukas locker.
A small plush bunny with floppy ears. And a badly glued-on mini plastic tennis racket.
I'll miss you...

I survived! *cough* Er, yes.Two of my tests done, 3 more to go. Meep.
The japanese grammar test yesterday was easy, as expected *ish mad grammar genius* and teh reading and translating from japanese test today I feared so much was easier than I thought. I was lucky and got 3 texts I remembered enough to get through. will probably be around 80, 90%.
Now I've got 6 hours of free time, can't go home since the trains are on strike again and will have my test in christian iconography later today. Which means after finishing playing around here, I'll sit in the art historians lounge (big word for an old couch wedged into the corridor between teh zoology labs and the small room most of my art history classes are held in) and reread half of the bible. JOY. Japanese essay test on Thursday, oral exam on Tuesday and THEN I'll have free time....to write two stinky essays until the end of the month. >.< I'm glad I was able to sneak some hours to work on my cosplay on the weekend. Sword almost finished, even managed to cut the pattern for the cos already. Now I just have to sew it...and what else whas forked over to me for Pales birthday present. *coughmorefuncough*

Ich möchte schon mal im Vorraus vor seltsamen sprachlichen Auswüchsen warnen, wir haben beinahe eine neue Spache erfunden, das Nihoitsugo (...Japandeutschisch?). Falls ich also irgendwo vergesse, solche Ausdrücke zu übersetzen, fragt ruhig, aber erwartet nicht viele sinnvolle Antworten.
